Furniture Dismantling/ Reassembly Service

Flat Pack Yorkshire are not only experts at assembling flat pack furniture but we can also dismantle your flat pack furniture too. We regularly work with several removals companies, including Pickfords, to provide a furniture dismantling and reassembly service for their customers who are moving home.

If you need to move your flat pack furniture, Flat Pack Yorkshire will carefully dismantle your furniture in the reverse order to which it was assembled.
We will label all parts, which is especially important if several pieces of furniture are being moved, and remove all the necessary fixings (handles, hinges, cam screws etc.) to ensure that your furniture doesn’t get damaged during the move.
All the loose fixings will be bagged up and clearly labelled so nothing gets lost.
Photographs will be taken during the dismantling process to assist our Flat Pack Yorkshire assemblers in reassembling your furniture and to ensure it’s built to the same standard as it was originally. Alternatively, if you’re moving further afield, out of the Flat Pack Yorkshire coverage area, we will be happy to provide the photographs to your chosen assembler to assist them.

Flat Pack Yorkshire will always aim to give a fixed price for our flat pack furniture dismantling/reassembly service. All we ask is that you send us photographs of the exterior and interior of the furniture. If, for any reason, this isn’t possible then we will be unable to offer a fixed price and will instead need to charge an hourly rate (see pricing).
